T he choice of a Colonial kitchen for your home is a timeless one. A Colonial design for your kitchen or cabinets can easily fit into a new structure or as a part of your renovation to match the existing style.

A Colonial design is distinguished by –

  • Traditionally either Jarrah or Oregon timber is used
  • There are lead light inserts or details
  • Colonial style bolection moulding – that is, it projects beyond the face of a panel or frame
  • Often has a solid timber top
  • Normally would use either brass or cast iron hardware

Of course there are no hard and fast rules and we love the challenge of designing and building the kitchen of your imagination.
